Redskins to work out Sam Bradford

Arlington, Virginia 3/22/10
The Redskins announced yesterday that they will work out quarterback Sam Bradford. They have also shown great interest in Tim Tebow. Whoever they pick in this year's draft, he better be effective, or it will just show how ill-minded Dan Snyder is. If you look at Colt Brennan, he has never even played in the regular season. I'll give you a rundown on the quarterback situation for the Redskins: #1: Jason Campbell, #2: Rex Grossman, #3: Colt Brennan, #4: Richard Bartell, plus the #4 overall pick in the draft. So I don't really know what to think of this. 10 seasons as the Redskins owner. 6 different head coaches. 3 playoff appearances. 1 NFC East championship. I wont even tell you the number of starting quarterbacks. Just this. Wow. I think its time to throw in the towel, Dan. Sell the 'Skins to someone who actually knows what they're doing. I dont have anything against the guy, I just dont think he's owner material. He's just a fan, like me. That ends this post. See ya!

  1. You have to think that Shanahan is going to provide some stability to the franchise, and if the Redskins select a QB high in the draft, it's more because Shanahan is looking for someone that works for his system and less because Chainsaw Dan is exerting pressure. However, I think if they do draft Tebow, it'll will completely be a Chainsaw Dan pick because A) He loves glamorous names over players who fit the system, and B) He loves QBs from the University of Florida (Shane Matthews, Danny Weurfel, Rex Grossman, Steve Spurrier)

  2. I would have to agree. Snyder does love big-name players, and doesn't care if they fit in the system or not. Unfortunatley for him, he has too much money, and is not afraid to spend it. Just look at all the big names: Heath Schuler: terrible. Mark Brunell: terrible, Jason Taylor: Terrible. He just takes good players about to retire who don't play as well as they used to, and it hurts the team.
