Caps win in style, 4-3

Washington, D.C.
The Capitals won in stunning fashion last night, beating the Penguins 4-3 in a shootout. For some reason the Penguins can't seem to finish off the Capitals, especially when the Caps are at home. The last Penguins-Capitals game the Pens had a 4-1 lead, but the Caps came back to win with Ovechkin's exciting hat-trick. This time around, the Pens were up 2-1 in the 3rd period, but then Alex Semin and Eric fehr scored for Washington. Not to mention the amazing goalie play by Jose Theodore in the 3rd, saving the game for the Caps. But with a 3-2, lead, Jordan Staal tied for Pittsburgh with 3 minutes left. This game would take OT and a shootout for a winner. The Penguins were 7-1 in shoot-outs and I thought it would be hard for DC to win. They couldnt do it. They just couldnt lose. It wasn't possible with all the fans on their feet. So Mike Knuble decided to score his first-ever shoot-out goal and win it. I was amazed(as always) by the Capitals. If they keep playing this way, with great goal-tending and awesome scoring abilities(5-on-5, short-handed or on the power-play) they will go deep in this playoffs.Another Capitals post, keep coming back for more!!!!!!!!!!
See Ya!
